About the event

Robots and drones are coming to public places, whether or not we are ready for them. In some cities, they are already here, providing driverless transport, last-mile delivery of goods, garbage collection, search and rescue and even robotic wheelchairs. As the digital technology that guides them grows smaller, more powerful and more connected, applications will only expand.

What does it take to get prepared? Join ICF and the Urban Robotics Foundation for an introduction to this emerging trend and a panel discussion regarding a framework for making sensible public policy decisions. Speakers include:

Michelle Crandall, City Manager, City of Hilliard, Ohio, USA

Mark-Emil Talivere, Innovation Expert, City of Tallinn, Estonia

Robert Bell, Co-Founder, Intelligent Community Forum

Bern Grush, Executive Director, Urban Robotics Foundation

In this engaging webinar, you will hear from technology experts, city officials and ICF leaders how to balance an openness to innovation with protection of public spaces and the people who use them.
